Saturday, December 15, 2018, was the PatchWork Collective’s first ever holiday bazaar. Vendors, neighbors, and friends came together to make the day a festive and profitable day for everyone involved.
Whenever the Woodward View gets put to full use, it makes me a little giddy. I love seeing neighbors, friends, and local business owners come together and have fun. So this weekend’s Holiday Bazaar put a smile on my face that lasted until the last customer walked out the door with their gifts. If you missed it, here’s a review of the great event, and a hint on how you can get in on our next craft day, coming up in 2019.
Vendor Showcase from the PatchWork Holiday Bazaar
First, I want to say thank you to all our wonderful vendors. We could not have had a successful event without you. Special thanks to:

- Carla’s Creations pallet-wood artwork for your holiday and home
- A Diamond in the Rough purses and jewelry
- Olive’s Bloombox florist and holiday decor
- Madiscents natural organic skin and body products
- Neon Vagabond Goods custom, vintage, and salvage jewelry creations
Ferndale Celebrates the Holidays at PatchWork Collective
Of course, the vendors were only part of the fun. A successful holiday event needs a strong connection to the local community. Neighbors and friends showed up from across Metro Detroit to sip on coffee and cocoa and write letters to Santa. We were thrilled to see some of our favorite people from the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Ferndale. Neighbors brought their kids and families to pick up holiday gifts and see the coworking space dressed up in its Christmas best.
Craft Shows to Return to the PatchWork Collective: Be the First to Know!
We were so thrilled to support local artists and vendors that we’re already planning for the next craft show at the PatchWork Collective. We’ve taken some suggestions from our vendors and are sure the next craft bazaar will be even bigger and better. Want to be a part of it? Subscribe to our blog and newsletter to be the first to know when the craft shows will return to the PatchWork Collective.
