Need a way to shed the stress of your workday on your way home to Ferndale? The PatchWork Collective is bringing you an evening Yin yoga class to help you unwind from your day and center yourself for your family or evening activities.
Founding member Sarah Clark, of mYoga, will be offering a Yin (ish) yoga class in the PatchWork Collective workshop room on Tuesday evenings starting Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Come let go of the day and let your proverbial spring unwind with a collection of slow-moving, breath-finding poses meant to bring you back to center and relieve tension.

mYoga Trainer, Sarah Clark Brings Customized Practice to Ferndale
Sarah is a Registered Yoga Teacher, who received her RYT 1200 training in 1999. For nearly 20 years, she has been teaching all kinds of students in a variety of settings ever since. Rooted in Ashtanga and Iyengar, with a diverse sprinkling of influences from the many teachers and practitioners she has met, Sarah is able to tailor the yoga practice to the needs of her class members, and you can be sure no two classes will be exactly alike.
“Yoga is for every kind of body, all levels and styles need practice, and if you are breathing at the end of the class, you are doing it right.”
Sarah personally understands the restorative value of a regular yoga practice. She attributes her ability to even stand on her ongoing 20-year practice.
“I have MS, a chronic neurodegenerative disease that has left a lesion covering the length of my cervical spine. Medicine has informed me I should be wheelchair bound. I prefer walking.”
She uses her own experience and practice to provide guidance no matter what your skill level. Even if you have never done yoga, or are apprehensive about your ability, Sarah says you can feel comfortable practicing with her, knowing that you are not the only one wondering if your body will do that pose today.
Start Your Weekly Yoga Practice at the PatchWork Collective
Committing to a lasting routine is often a matter of access and convenience. Having mYoga in the PatchWork Collective coworking space makes it easy to stick to a weekly yoga practice. Members and drop-in guests of the PatchWork Collective will be able to close their laptops and open themselves up to their evenings all in one space.
